Welcome to “Life After Corn”

by

So, now you have to learn to eat differently than you ever have before…

You are armed with bags of brochures, pamphlets, and notes from the dietician.

Your head is spinning from it all, but…

Picture 21Then your friends throw a party, and you (of course) go to hang out.

They don’t know what to say. Some of them urge you to eat from the blacklist anyway, and have a good time.

(At least they mean well!)

Welcome to “Life After Corn!”

Come on in, check it all out and, please, post your comments.

Maybe start HERE, with my story, or HERE, with a post that starts off this journey of exploring the social side of food. And if you doubt the benefit of exploring the “weird food” thing together, check THIS out! (Amazing…) Or maybe all you want is a few recipe ideas…

Whether you are used to your special diet or not (yet), I hope there will be something here for you, and I really want to learn from you, too.

(BTW, this site isn’t only about allergies… it’s also about what all these special needs mean for our everyday interactions with everyone around us, and helping each other out!)

  1. Hi, sorry for requesting this query here, but I am not ableto find a contact form or something so I assumed I could I leave my request here. I run a blogengine blog but I am receiving bigger amounts of spam. I see u use wordpress, is it simpler to regulate spam with wordpress or doesn’t it make any difference? I hope you will respond to my comment or maybe send me an email with your answer if you don’t want to approve the comment. Best regards, Annie

  2. When I use my search engine to look for blogs to read yours has come up several times on different categories. That just made me want to read it more, I can see why. It is excellent. Keep up the awesome work and I will continue reading.

  3. Hi Annie,

WordPress has lots of options for managing spam, yes. Since you are also using WordPress for your Boxed Meals blog, just go in to your plugins manager and do a search for spam manager plugins.

And thanks for the point about not having a contact form. I’ll add one in.
