Why “Life After Corn?”

OK, so I have to eat a little differently than most people. Which means I cook. A LOT. I don’t even like cooking, but I do like eating, sooo…

The best reaction I can get is, “What?! You made that? With your weird stuff? But…” “it tasted GREAT!” Other days? I just need help. Lots of help.

And it’s not just about ingredients. The hardest part? I think it’s being weird. Imagine this: I bring my own food to parties and, worse, I actually even read labels. Always.

Besides ingredient lists, I’ve also done a little reading about food and… sociology …and semiotics …and production …and, whatever… What I’m learning helps me, and, well, now I’d like to pay it forward.
